{"id":211,"date":"2012-07-28T11:40:34","date_gmt":"2012-07-28T11:40:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asinlife.com\/?p=211"},"modified":"2014-12-02T22:16:17","modified_gmt":"2014-12-02T22:16:17","slug":"recent-exhibition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asinlife.com\/?p=211","title":{"rendered":"CHI PY&#8217;S"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>19 May &#8211; 9 June 2012<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/conical.org.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">Conical\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This project layered introduced texts with existing signs in the space, through a process of drawing on the language of culture as materiality, and the continuous production of new texts.\u00a0 This project proposed an addition of texts, a process of interweaving as the etymology of the word suggests. This intertex<ins cite=\"mailto:Melissa%20Miles\" datetime=\"2012-03-22T16:28\">t<\/ins>ual approach opened up a dialogue with the space as text to create tensions, harmonies and inclusivity around our writing of signs; the process of signification itself became transparent and active.<\/p>\n<p>It included a series of texts: sound, castings in different materials, a carving, a photograph and a printed text object.
